Today, the port management company bremenports has cancelled the public marketing events which were planned for the coming weeks. “In view of the current discussion about how to cope with the coronavirus and its drastic spread, we have decided to cancel the Logistics Talks in Bielefeld, Prague and Budapest,” announced bremenports Managing Director Robert Howe. “After considering the present situation and the unforeseeable future developments, we believe it would be irresponsible to hold these public events.”
The Logistics Talks are a series of information events held in the hinterland of the ports of Bremen. They are intended to promote contacts between the port business community and its customers. Last year, bremenports organised 10 events in Germany and abroad which were attended by a total of around 1000 visitors.
Howe announced that these successful events would be reinstated as soon as possible and that alternative dates would be found in the second half of the year for those events that had been cancelled.
