bremenports launches new series of virtual events / First topic is hydrogen
“The decade of the ports – Bremen on Thursdays” is the title of a new series of events in which bremenports will host public discussion sessions over the next few months to provide information about key aspects of port development. Robert Howe, Managing Director of bremenports states, “This year, it will again not be possible to stage our events in the main hinterland regions of the ports of Bremen. We are nevertheless very keen to present the highly diverse aspects of the ports of Bremen, to show their efficiency in highly different areas and announce forthcoming developments.
The kick-off event this Thursday will take a look at the climate-neutral port: Dr Claudia Schilling, Senator for Science and Ports, Professor Carsten Fichter (Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences), Hafsteinn Helgason (EFLA, Iceland) and Robert Howe (bremenports) will discuss topics under the heading “Hydrogen at the port as part of the green deal”. Axel Pusitzky (Radio Bremen) will facilitate the discussion.
The event will be available as a live stream from the ÖVB Arena as from 4.30 pm (CET). Interested parties can register at https://nextmoderator.net/logistics_talk to receive a dial-in link shortly before the event begins.
