The working world of port construction and maintenance is still very much a male domain. Our target is to achieve a well-balanced staff structure and promote equal opportunities for men and women. We have therefore set ourselves the target of increasing the share of female employees in the technical, nautical and industrial sectors of the company. At the moment, women account for a share of 22.5 per cent of the workforce at bremenports.
