bremenports GmbH & Co. KG – your port management company

We live and breathe the ports – as do our 393 committed employees. bremenports GmbH & Co. KG has managed the infrastructure of the ports of Bremen on behalf of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, with the exception of shoreside infrastructure at Fischereihafen, since January 2002. In addition to the two administration buildings Sail City in Bremerhaven and at Überseestadt in Bremen, bremenports also has workshops located in the Überseehafen district in Bremerhaven, at Bremen-Seehausen and in Bremen-City. Numerous employees work at the four major sea locks and at various locations of Bremen’s terminal railway. Construction site huts are also used temporarily for specific projects.

Clearly organised: the tasks performed by bremenports are stipulated in agency agreements that were concluded with what was then Bremen’s Senator for Economic Affairs, Labour and Ports. These tasks break down into regular tasks and special tasks provided on behalf of the Special Asset Ports, as well as third-party business which is organised as a private-economy company.
